Arctic Spirits

"Arctic Spirits" captures the moment when my comrades and I, amidst the silence of the pandemic, found ourselves in Lapland on a cold and sunny February day. With no tourists around, it felt like we were the only living creatures on earth. Nature and its essence came closer than ever, and I experienced a beautiful spiritual feeling in body and soul.
The arctic spirits appeared in the still landscape, and when I returned home I couldn't help but recreate the magical moment in my artwork "Arctic Spirits." Every detail reflects the memories and emotions of that day – a tribute to the pristine beauty and unseen forces that danced through the frozen silence.
The work is my interpretation of the strong connection between man and nature, and how it was strengthened in the isolation of the pandemic.
